My Nervous System Can't Hold the Line Anymore

How do we continue to keep being in survival mode every single freaking day? I have noticed that being on my social media platforms continuously throughout the day has really been affecting me on a soul level.
As you know, the media has been a LOT lately, and in the last handful of years. So much anger, bitterness, negativity, death, violence, fear, sadness and worry infiltrating our senses all day long!
IT’S TOO MUCH!
My nervous system can’t hold the line anymore. I am done. I am done giving any of that stuff my energy and time. Of course I am aware of what is happening in the world and in the United States. I like to be “in the know” at all times, but I’m good reading about it only once from a “reputable” source (if there is one anymore), then I can go from there on my own.
I have noticed that being on social media so much during the day keeps us/me in a constant state of stress, fear, worry and sadness. I choose to NOT be in that energy any longer. I am taking a stand and I am putting my mental health, my blood pressure, my nervous system and my heart first, so I can live a life in the higher frequencies like I always have.
What we listen to, watch, read and think about really affects our bodies. It all just goes inside and rots, giving us long term stress or a fucking rash for god’s sake! Our bodies have to release these images and words back into the universe somehow. I know we can’t “erase” what we have already seen or heard, but we can send the energy of it back where it came from. We can’t continue to keep all of this crap in our energy or else we will end up run down or even sick.
As spiritual people who are connected to literally everything around us and above us we have to remember to stop and listen to our bodies. Listen for fatigue, sadness, lack of focus, no motivation, no future planning, change in sleep patterns, etc.
Our bodies react to the energy of people you are connected to in-person or online, we can react to solar flares, geomagnetic storms in space, planetary alignments, mercury retrogrades, the full moon, weather patterns and the change of seasons even.
By working with the “tides” of our body’s energy, we can move with the flow of what comes at us and within us. We must remember that we are safe within our own energy and protected by our own spiritual team. Our mental health and happiness can be held gently by taking some steps to stay aligned energetically and through self-care.
Here are some tips to staying high vibe:

Limit your time on social media platforms.

Try to not get “fired up” at all the news out there, most of it isn’t the full truth anyway.

Talk about your feelings with someone who will listen without judgement about something that is upsetting you. Have a deep conversation about what’s going on in the world and how it makes you feel. Just talking about something will make a world of difference for your body, heart and mind.

Plan something fun to look forward to in the next few days, weeks or months.

Listen to your favorite music and dance around the house.

Play with your pet(s) if you have them.

Get outside and feel the sun on your face for 15 minutes.

Ground yourself while being barefoot in the grass for 15+ minutes (when it’s warmer out.)

Go get your favorite snack! Splurge a little and eat that donut or 2!

Meet up with a friend for lunch and talk about life and your dreams moving forward.

Learn something NEW! Take one of my on-demand classes or 2!
There is so much goodness in the world and in LIFE! The beauty of nature, human touch, local heroes, animals and love are why we are here!
These wonderful things have all been pushed aside and I want to bring the goodness back!
