Spirit Knew What I Needed: When Self Doubt Kicked In

I had to be reminded of something....

I CAN DO HARD THINGS!
Because I am SMART and I am a tech savvy queen! ♥
ha ha! But seriously....I am!

Last Friday I was installing some behind the scenes codes and trying to link 2 other platform thingys to my website...When it all went sideways and my website became shut down, I felt SICK to my stomach, “What did I do!?!?” (and the crying begins)

I had big red boxes popping up on my platform page saying, “kimnicholls.com is DISCONNECTED. Call support to resolve issue!”
Then on the other website it said the codes didn’t match but for the life of me I could not figure out how to change the damn codes! (insert more crying).
And the other website I was trying to connect was just stuck, no movement with the numbers or anything.

I thought I had killed them all, all 3 platforms/websites. I guess I think I’m pretty powerful, huh?

I cried off and on for a whole day and as I fell asleep that night. I felt like I was missing a limb without my website being up and alive. I LOVE my website! I felt I was missing out on potential clients and connections for days (insert ugly crying). I consistently have 250-400+ visits to my website every single day, and this really hurt.

I was sad and upset because I knew this wasn’t going to be resolved until after the weekend, and that it would be at least 3-4 more days of my website being down. UGH! I felt helpless! I woke up on Saturday morning and I told my husband I wanted to get out of the house, go outside and go for a little hike. We drove about 45 minutes, got to the spot where we wanted to hike, and during our hike, we saw 2 golden eagles! They were in the trees as we walked along the path. One was in the distance, and one flew in right in front of us!

 

He was HUGE! He flew in and landed on the tree right in front of us!

 

I knew it was a sign from Spirit. I knew they were reminding me that I am powerful and I need to stand in that energy! Don’t ever talk bad to yourself, you’re not a failure, you’re not dumb, you’re not this, you’re not that….YOU are just the opposite!

You are doing the work you are meant to be doing! And you’re doing an amazing job at it! Sometimes we need to walk away from our space, just for a few hours, to get grounded outside or to go see a movie to break the energetic grip the challenge holds on you. We can’t “ungrip” that energy when it feels like it’s overtaking us! So, listen to your body and what it needs, listen to Spirit and hear where it’s nudging you to go.

I did that, and I left the house, drove for 45 minutes, got outside and walked a short hike with my husband in the 40 degree sunny weather, smelled the fresh Colorado air, and admired the majestic eagles that visited us.

They are our animal medicine, as my dear friend Lisa G. would say ♥.
And medicine they are!

After the hike, I felt really relaxed and rebalanced. I wasn’t worried about my website, I felt ok with it getting fixed when it would get fixed. It’s out of my control until I can hire my tech guy to help me get it all situated again. Whew! I felt better.

As we drove back home, we talked about how cool it was to see those 2 golden eagles. I was looking through my photos again and just feeling, “Wow! We are so lucky to see eagles so often!” Then I looked up from my phone and saw a clump of huge cottonwood trees off the side of the highway. I looked and said, “OMG! There are 2 bald eagles in that tree! Look! They’re sitting together!” (One was fluffing his feathers, but they are sitting together on the right side of the tree. This is taken from the car as my husband was driving 75 mph on the highway, ha ha! Not too shabby!)

 

It’s really cool, because the eagle is one of my guardian animals.

I harness the power and the strength of the eagle energy in my daily life. And for 4 of them to show up when I was struggling with my website issues and doubting my capability of doing coding and tech stuff, well, that’s pretty fucking cool! AND so validating that they are there for me, they hear me, they show themselves to me and they give me the reassurance that
I AM SUPPORTED, by them! I felt the nudge from Spirit to get outside for a few hours, I followed through and BOOM! 4 eagles show up to calm my nervous system down, I heard, "Spirit's got this!"

Here’s the silver lining....

The next day, about 24 hours later, I tried my link again (for about the 10,000th time) and it WORKED! It freaking WORKED!

I did it! I really did it!

Everything I wanted to achieve through all those adjustments I did was working, smooth like butter. I was so excited and impressed that I DID do it correctly and it IS working perfectly! And started crying tears of joy (this time!)

I guess it took 24 hours for the new code and techy stuff I implemented to settle and get connected properly. Who knew? It would be nice if they told us that?

I DID do everything right, and I CAN do anything I put my mind to.

In business, I go after everything fearlessly and blind. I get things done on my own, and to say I am proud of myself, would be an understatement.
