What I Learned While I was hurt

A few weeks ago my hip went out of alignment, something got pinched and I was down and out for a week!

I hate it when I'm hurt or sick because I can't be there for my members, my community or my family. I am literally forced to lay down, rest and recuperate.

Spirit takes measures into their own hands when I don't take the time to "slow down" like I should. I just go, go, go, go, go, until I'm running on mental fumes and I'm driving myself into the ground. I am a worker bee! I love working with my members on a daily basis, lending them psychic training, higher consciousness insight, new perspectives, healing, channeling spiritual practices to raise their vibration, and so much more. I L♥VE what I do!

But I don't rest my mind a lot. I'm always thinking about what's next and how I am going to achieve it. Its just how I'm wired and I love it!

My ability to grab the reins and take charge while leading the pack is one of my gifts! I will lead and support everyone who chooses to have me in their circle. I am here for it!

I learned that I am the glue.

I am the one who holds the torch in the darkness.

I am the the one who listens, openly, without judgement.

I am the one who always answers the phone/text/message no matter what I'm doing.

I am the reliable one you can count on.

And I love those things about me.

I love knowing that my community, friends and family can rely on me to show up and be supportive no matter what.

I also had time to take a step back and notice how many people are completely self absorbed, wear "blinders" or who have "tunnel vision" and can't see past themselves. How a two person conversation turns into a one way conversation without them coming back around and asking how you are? Or how one sentence from a person you walked away from years ago can come back into your energy (uninvited), flaring up their old behaviors you tried so hard to heal and break away from, as its triggering old feelings of "ick" that you never wanted to revisit again. Yet, here you are, crying, feeling gross, feeling attacked, thinking to yourself "I thought I was healed from that crap!" which then turns into anger.

It's not a great feeling to be knocked out of alignment both physically and emotionally at the same time, but it happened to me for a reason. I needed to be reminded that I am not healed and that I do need to look deeper into some past life trauma (from this lifetime).

Why was Spirit sending me this?

Why were they bringing this to my attention now, while I was laid up in bed with my hip messed up?

Because they knew I couldn't outrun it. I was stuck. I was forced to lay down and face my trauma and my healing....again. Ugh!

But it was what needed to happen, because it gave me 2 things that I learned:

  1. I took notice of who I am as a person, and how I show up in the world and in my circles. I feel proud of myself, and I found a new love of myself.

  2. It was time to revisit my past. Time to revisit it, without warning so I couldn't avoid it, and learn from it. What did I learn? 1. I am not 100% healed from my trauma, but each step closer feels good. 2. I still harbor a LOT of sadness. 3. I am strong. 4. It was a reminder that I have chosen MYSELF over abuse. 5. I am my own person. 6. I am proud of myself and who I have become. 7. I have BROKEN the CYCLE. 8. I am nothing like that person and never could be.

Life is short. Do the things that bring you peace, love and harmony in your life. Here is some advice that I have learned, personally:

• Make sure you find peace within yourself. • It's never too late to put yourself first.

• Know that you are always doing the best you can, with what you have.

• Stand up for yourself, even when others don't. • Be your own cheerleader, you can't rely on others to lift you up. • Check in on yourself weekly! • Always be kind, generous, loving, thankful and grateful, even if it's not reciprocated. • Don't let other people's opinions stop you or discourage you from doing what you want in life. • See the good in things. • Notice nature, every single day and connect with it. • Remember that every moment is a big moment, because it'll be gone in a flash. • Cherish love, and love unconditionally. • Be fearless. • Follow your heart.

I will always continue to be Me.

I will probably always feel abandoned and "invisible."

This is not a sympathy tactic, it's my reality.

These are the tools I work with in the world.

My priorities are to make sure people are seen and heard, supported and loved.

Doing psychic and mediumship readings and guiding my members into the higher state of consciousness of the 5D, are what fuel my fire and light up my energy. I hope this resonated with you on some level and that you can take away something inspirational as you move into the future.

Peace & Magic,

♥ - Kim
